This year — I turn 55 — and I’ve been training since I was 17

I’ve spent over three decades in the world of fitness, and if there’s one thing life has taught me, it’s this: it’s not just about having a lean, strong body — it’s about building a life with purpose.

For many years, I chased results without understanding the process. I followed diets I didn’t understand, did workouts that didn’t connect with me, and sought quick changes without a solid foundation.

Over time, I realized that living like that is like trying to solve a puzzle without ever seeing the full picture. You can fit pieces together, even feel like you’re making progress… but you never really know if you’re heading in the right direction — or what you’re actually building.

Real change begins when you stop looking for shortcuts and choose to learn. When you take full ownership of your journey and build your path with intention — not imitation — that’s when everything starts to make sense.

I’ve come to believe that the key isn’t training harder — it’s training smarter.
You don’t need to spend endless hours in the gym or lift the heaviest weights.
You need to understand what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how to make it work for your life.

It’s about moving with purpose, eating with intention, and learning to listen — to your body, your rest, and your emotions.

Over the years, people started coming to me — not looking for a “magazine cover body” — but because I offered a different way of seeing fitness: more human, more real, and more sustainable.

That’s what led me to fully commit to this mission: to educate, guide, and inspire those who are ready for real, lasting change.

I’ve fought my own battles.
I’ve faced depression and serious health challenges that pushed me to the edge.
And it was in those moments that I discovered something that changed me forever:

Exercise — no matter the type — is one of the most powerful tools we have for healing.

Throughout the years, I’ve earned multiple certifications as a personal trainer — but I’ve discovered that my true calling isn’t just to train people… it’s to transform lives.
Today, after more than 20 years helping others, I’ve created The Fitness Garage — a brand that reflects everything I believe in: education, real support, structure, purpose, and results that truly last.

The Fitness Garage

The Fitness Garage didn’t start as a business idea — it started as a real experience. Born in the back of a garage, with a clear mission: to transform lives through knowledge, structure, and intention.

That’s how The Fitness Garage came to be — as a response to a need. A need that thousands of people experience without even realizing it: training without understanding, repeating without purpose, following instructions without learning.

For years, we saw the same cycle repeated in traditional gyms:

Frustrated people doing generic routines without knowing why.
Waiting in line for machines, surrounded by noise, egos, and distractions.
Trainers who are physically present, but emotionally and professionally absent.
Handing you a routine, telling you what to do — but never explaining the reason behind it.

But the true purpose of training should be to help you understand the benefit of each movement, its intention, and how it connects to your goals. Because without understanding, there’s no lasting transformation.
